Finding Books

Books in the library are organized by call number according to the Library of Congress classification system which groups items by subject, so you can often simply browse the shelves. Here are some relevant subjects:

Suggested SUBJECT eadings:

  1. Happiness
  2. Pleasure
  3. Well-being
  4. Joy
  5. Quality of life
  6. Positive psychology

Also try KEYWORD searches.  Enter additional terms, but KEEP IT SIMPLE, focused on key concepts!


    1. "foreign students" or "international students"
    2. immigrant students
    3. students (happiness or "well-being") 
    4. college students "mental health" 

Alternate/related terms are surrounded by parentheses and connected with OR.  Place quotes around phrases
