Finding Books

Library organized its collection by subjects matter.   You can often simply locate a book of a specific subject area. Call numbers are roughly assigned by subject areas according to the Library of Congress classification system, and incate books location on shelves. Here are some relevant subjects and their call numbers:

Course Reserves

The library has some current textbooks, but not all, on reserve. It depends on whether your instructor placed materials on reserve for student use.

Search CityCat by course or instructor. CityCat will show which library has the course material, whether it is available and also the length of time it is available for check out. Below is an example of a textbook we have on reserve for PHST 30.
