Films on Demand and Kanopy
Films on Demand is an online library of streaming videos that includes over 15,000 videos on music and dance.
Kanopy provides streaming access to a thousand videos from major film producers. Kanopy's films include operas, musicals, documentaries about jazz, the blues, Latin music, and folk music.
You can access both Films on Demand and Kanopy from the library website's Articles and Databases page.
Off-campus users will be prompted to login (see the Getting Started video to the right)

Two ways to find videos
1. Search by keyword: In the search box, type your search terms.
2. Browse: Click on "Explore the full library",

Creating FOD Accounts
Go to Films on Demand. Once you've logged in with your ID barcode (if off-campus) or access FOD (if on campus), you have the option of creating a personal user account. What are the benefits of doing this?
- Allows you to tag and save favorites for easy recall
- Lets you curate your own lists of films and segments, that can be shared with your students
- Gives you control of user settings including playback rate and automatic startup of close captioning
To create an account, simply locate the "create account" screen in the upper right corner of the screen.
Streaming from Home
An active RAM ID (student ID number) and RAM ID password is required for off-campus access to Films on Demand and Kanopy. When accessing these resources from off-campus, users will be prompted to log in with RAM ID, then will be able to view resources as if they are on-campus.
