How to Access E-books
The library provides access to over 130,000+ eBooks. Search both the Ebscohost EBook Collection and OneSearch to find ebooks.
An active RAM ID (student ID number) and RAM ID password is required for off-campus access to CCSF Library e-books. When accessing these resources from off-campus, users will be prompted to log in with RAM ID, then will be able to view resources as if they are on-campus.
Books in the library are organized by call number according to the Library of Congress classification system which groups items by subject, so you can often simply browse the shelves. Here are some relevant subjects and their call numbers:

Use OneSearch to search for books, eBooks, magazine, newspaper and journal articles, streaming videos, DVDs, CDs, images, and more, all in a single search.
Books in the CCSF Libraries
Does the library have textbooks? Yes, the library has most current textbooks on reserve for student use.
Search by course number or the title of the book by clicking on the Course Reserves tab of the Library's search box. You'll see which library has the course material, whether it is available and also the length of time it is available for check out. Below is an example of a textbook we have on reserve for Art 101.
