Child Development and Family Studies: Books/eBooks

Course Reserves

Does the library have textbooks? Yes, the library has some current textbooks, but not all, on reserve. It depends on whether your instructor placed materials on reserve for student use.

Search CityCat by course or instructor. CityCat will show which library has the course material, whether it is available and also the length of time it is available for check out. Below is an example of a textbook we have on reserve for CDEV 53.

How to Access E-books

The library provides access to over 130,000+ eBooks.  Search both the Ebscohost EBook Collection and OneSearch to find ebooks.

An active RAM ID (student ID number) and RAM ID password is required for off-campus access to CCSF Library e-books. When accessing these resources from off-campus, users will be prompted to log in with RAM ID, then will be able to view resources as if they are on-campus.
