CPT Coding Journal Articles Library Assignment

For this library assignment, students will learn to locate recent journal aricles about CPT Coding from online library databases and create APA citations for the articles. Bring the completed assignment to the library at the John Adams Center to be reviewed and signed by a librarian to receive class credit in HIT 76 with Professor Rincon!

Step 1:

Complete the online Library Workshop B tutorial for more in-depth instruction about finding journal articles in library databases.

Step 2:

Learn about searching for articles using library databases by reading this brief overview and by watching a short video about searching EBSCO databases (made for a library in Ohio, but the same database we use at CCSF). More tips can be found in the Articles tab.

Step 3:

  1. Print out the Assignment (attached below).
  2. Use the EBSCOhost database to locate recent articles on CPT Coding. Learn how to search for articles in EBSCOhost from the Articles tab.
  3. Create bibliographic citations using APA style for the articles that you located. Learn how to create citations using APA from the APA Citations tab.
  4. Bring your completed assignment to the library at the John Adams Center to be reviewed before the end of the semester for class credit.
